Graduate Teaching Assistant
B.A. Journalism (SUNY College at Buffalo)
M.A. Mass Communication (University of Florida)

Jack Karlis is pursuing his PhD in Mass Communications. He is in his third year of doctoral work. His professional experience includes publication in several daily newspapers around the United States (New York, South Carolina, Florida and California), working in the online outlet of a print newspaper, public relations for a school district, and the business side of television. His research interests include new media technologies, media convergence, and journalism and mass communication curriculum.
